Lithuania - Four Seasons in One Day!

This is a Country on the move! Unrestricted development, a friendly tax system and plenty of EU cash has certainly done the trick. A fascinating 4 days encountering white sandy beaches, beautiful sunsets, baltic rain and very few people (none of them British!).

Barbican

I have always wanted to go and see the Barbican area of London. The area is not at all what I had expected being much more beautiful.

I cant understand how the Barbican is often voted London's Ugliest Building. The modernist lines of the buildings are softened by hundreds of window boxes, water and trees making it an oasis in the city.

Sailing on the Marine Lake

On a flat calm evening the intrepid were out on the lake. A very patient evening on the water.

Thorpe Perrow at Bedale, North Yorkshire

The Falconry at Thorpe Perrow has some fantastic hawks, owls and obviously falcons. A couple of photographs are in the Animals Gallery.

West Kirby & Hoylake Revisited

Tried out my new walk to work on Sunday morning. Along the West Kirby beach - around the headland then back along Hoylake Beach. 40 mins. Looking forward to summer! The new photos are in the Wirral Folder
